St Phillips School are planning to link United Nations Peace Day with a theme of forgiveness and reconciliation which will run through their assemblies over several weeks building up to a charity event, including on 21st September, a Holocaust survivor who will plant a Terezin sapling in the school grounds, from a seed planted in the concentration camp at Theresienstadt.

A solo pianist and a brass quintet from the Royal College of Music will play a repertoire of popular melodies and peace oriented pieces. The musical sets will be interspaced with short addresses on unity/peace. The evening of music will end by 8.30pm. All are welcome to attend.
