 These yoga sessions are suited to people of all ages and abilities. Your tutors will take you through simple, gentle movement explorations, using the postures of yoga to help you to be on the ground, feel your breath and discover perhaps a greater freedom of movement in body and mind. Please be prompt and wear loose comfortable clothing. Two teachers will be present at each session, one to teach and the other to assist and adjust people as they work through the postures

 Young people will be involved in designing messages around LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) hate crime to be broadcast around the borough on the Bluetooth Mass. The campaign will be launched at the end of September and will 'ping' phones in the locality.

T-Shirt designing competition
The theme of the T-shirts is Pro Peace. So please include a saying, quote or advice that would inspire you and other young people.
The competition is open to 19 year olds and under who live or go to school/college in Lambeth.
There will be 3 categories:
• 10 years old and under
• 11 – 15 years old
• 16-19 years old
A winner will be chosen in each category.
Deadline for entries is 6pm on the 15th of September.

Don’t Believe the Hype!

 A musical play written and devised by Pyramid Youth Theatre under the artisticdirection of Suzann McLean and musical direction of Jordan Xavier. Don’t’ judgea book by its cover. Five young people have been living their lives through fake identities and causing rife on the streets.
Why? Peer pressure, fitting in and acceptance. If they were to be truthful about who they are, then the risk totheir lives would be too great. The only way to survive is to keep up the disguise…or so they think… everything comes out in the wash…. because the truth will set you free…. or will it?

  No Colours is a ground up initiative with an inclusive approach created by local young people wanting to make a positive contribution to address anti-social behaviour in the local community. “No Colours” has football principles at its roots, which is symbolised by the black text on black armbands to mark the loss of those who should be here but are not. This means for these young people: No Colours on the street / No Colours in society / NoColours in politics. The “NoColours” round table discussion hopes to achieve dialogue and action on all levels surrounding hard to reach and marginalised urban youth on the topic of anti-social behaviour.
