Bexley are holding a cross borough event for the LWOP. Four walks will assemble and walk from North, South, East and West of the Borough to the Civic Centre (which is at the centre. Each walk will comprise a group of young people with every ward on the borough being represented. Each group will have a jigsaw piece of their ward. At the civic centre there will be a short ceremony addressed by the Mayor and the Borough Commander, about how young people can work together for a peaceful future. We will then assemble the jigsaw, piecing together the peace. Then there will be a short reception and then the young people will be treated to a visit to the cinema. This is taking place on 20th September . The walks will be starting at various times to meet at the civic centre at 1.00pm. The trip to the cinema should be about 2.00pm | |
