About 4.45pm a procession will take place from outside the Police Station to the Civic Centre, symbolically linking these two stakeholders. It will include the Mayor of Hillingdon and representatives from the many groups working in partnership within the Borough. An African music and dance troupe will provide a visual attraction to the procession on the 15 minute walk through Uxbridge town centre. There will be messages of PEACE from the civic dignitaries followed by a candle lighting ceremony and an opportunity for the various representatives to sign a petition supporting the peace message. The Hillingdon VPC will be in attendance as well as Crime Prevention bus close by to the venue alongwith stalls publicising support groups in the Borough. 

 To be hosted by the Kingsborough Family Church in Uxbridge.  The aim of this event is to bring together faith organisations and partner agencies working with young people to discuss ways of working together. Key speaker(s)will attend and a multi media presentation will be given to relevant youth agency attendees as well as the MPS. It is hoped to engender a unity of approach and consolidate the disparate work currently ongoing. The concept of Street Pastors for Hillingdon will also be introduced by Neil Collin.
