The West Wickham Safer Neighbourhood Team will liaise with Age concern in Sussex Road, as well as the Rotary club / Salvation Army / British Legion  and visit several elderly nursing homes. Discussions will take place on what the older generation believes what Peace Week is about, linked to their previous experiences during wartime.

Local primary schools have been asked to run a competion and paint a picture of what LWoP means to them  The winners will be presented with prizes on 11th September 2007 at the City Gate Church. The picture will be published in the local paper.

Trump cards have been produced of local Community Leaders, SNT, SMT and Specialist units to promote safety issues and community cohesion. The idea is that young children of primary school age are encourage to approach  their PCSO's, PC's etc and collect the cards. The cards will explain their roles in the community and discourage crime along with anti-social behaviour. Dates and places where individual card holders can be located will be published  in local news papers and on the SNT web site.
