A MINUTE FOR PEACE ON 21st SEPTEMBER 2008 As part of the International Day of Peace, LWOP invites all Londoners and church services to pause for a minute of silent prayer at 12.00 noon for the Peace of our city.
This marks its alignment with over 200 other countries who will perform the same act in accordance with the Ban Ki Moon’s (The UNITED NATIONS SECRETARY-GENERAL’S) statement underlining the fundamental message of THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE.

![]() PLANNING YOUR PEACE SERVICE IN 2008
As part of the Christian response to the London Week of Peace we are asking churches to prayerfully plan services dedicated to planning and promoting Peace in their local area through out the week.
We believe that prayer and practical participation across the City of London can create a positive impact.
