 PEACE!
The LONDON WEEK OF PEACE (LWOP) is an annual week of high profile events, initiatives and action organised principally by communities and individuals but also engaging organisations, businesses and public agencies, to promote greater community cohesion, safety and peace across the capital. It will take place from the 20th - 27th of September 2009.

 UNITY
OUR THEME FOR 2009 IS UNITY. Our vision is to have a year long programme of events and activities that partner with other agencies to make London one of the safest cities in the world.
Reinforcing our theme of Collaboration we hope to see stronger partnerships developing within schools and corporate organisations. Our vision on Reconciliation is to challenge people of different backgrounds and opposing views to come together in unity. Through our final theme of celebration we hope that events across the capital will stimulate us all to celebrate our diversity and uniqueness. | ||||
 PEACE IS YOUR BUSINESS
GET INVOLVED in the London Week of Peace. There are many ways to take part. You can organise an event or sponsor an event. You may wish to take part in one of the key events or one of the many borough events taking place in London during 20th - 27th September.
